SCALING LEARNING AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM.

The Scaling Learning and Emotional Support program-SLES in short, is a program designed to support displaced children aged of 9- 14 years who face trauma, who have no access to enough learning resources, who lack food and joy from their family members. Our strategy, we provide play-based activities, expose them to creative challenges and innovation to help them shift mind to positive attitude and healing. With their parents/caregivers, teachers, community leaders, and religious leaders, we organize be-weekly training session where we provide them with parenting information in order to adequately support their children as their grow up to become adult and self-leaders.

THRIVE with CREME PROGRAM.

Refugees in Kakuma camp face significant challenges to maintaining their health and receiving health care services. Lack of knowledge, limited access to resources, language barriers, and past trauma all contribute to poor health outcomes. The THRIVE with CREME program focuses on the need for increased knowledge to promote refugee health through preventive health education delivered in a universally accessible way.

LIFE TO LIGHT FOR HOPE. L2LH

Life To Life for Hope in short is L2LH. Is a project that is designed in Kakuma refugee camp to by young refugees to get parents or caregivers and community leaders (camp block leaders, religious leaders, School teachers and block securities) together and empower one another through sharing early life experience, current opportunities and ideas that contribute to social change and development. The sharing sessions are led by our self-motivated volunteer staffs once in a month because of financial limitations. We start by community mobilization then move to brief training on leadership skills, public speaking and communicative English as the office language in Kenya and in many other countries of the world
